Using the keyboard

Learn how the keyboard control works in bamboolib
When working with bamboolib, you need to know 4 things:
  1. 1.
Navigate between input fields with Tab (to next input) and Shift+Tab (to previous input)
  2. 2.
Inside a dropdown, navigate through the option list with Arrow up / Arrow down
  3. 3.
Select elements inside of a dropdown with Enter
  4. 4.
Push a button and toggle a checkbox with Space
Additional shortcuts for Pros:
  • Inside dropdowns, you can type to filter the options. If you started typing, you can auto-complete the current suggestion with Tab
  • Inside a single-select dropdown, you can select an element and move on to next input field with Tab (instead of hitting Enter and then Tab). This doesn’t work in multi-select dropdowns, because you might want to select another value.
  • Inside a text box, you can hit Enter to execute the transformation instead of navigating down to the Execute button
